Encrypted Tablet

Novice troll rogues arriving in the Valley of Trials are handed the Encrypted Tablet as their initial directive. Inscribed with ciphered instructions, the slate directs them directly to Rwag, an orc trainer residing within the shaded caves of the Den. Rather than openly broadcasting guild business, the local shadow operatives use these encrypted slates to test comprehension and discreetly draw new talent under official tutelage.

Deciphering the tablet introduces recruits to the larger shadow network of the Horde. Upon reporting to Rwag, scouts learn that their progression is scrutinized by shadowy syndicates like the Shattered Hand, who look to valley trainers to ensure prospective cutpurses, spies, and assassins are sharp enough to serve the new nation.
