Embalming Ichor
Embalming Ichor is an unnatural preserving fluid harvested from the bodies of Rot Hide gnolls in northern Tirisfal Glades. It sustains the gnolls' animated existence and has drawn the close interest of the Forsaken Apothecaries, who seek to analyze its properties to counter the Scourge.
Unnatural Preservation
The Rot Hide gnolls infesting Garren's Haunt and the nearby mass graves are not typical wild beasts; they are rotting, preserved thralls deployed by the Scourge to dig up plague victims. Flowing through their decayed veins is Embalming Ichor, a foul fluid that artificially preserves their flesh and grants them enduring unlife. For Magistrate Sevren in Brill, recovering vials of this ichor serves a dual purpose: it confirms the destruction of these graverobbers and provides Royal Apothecary Society researchers with fresh specimens to dissect, study, and weaponize against the Lich King's minions.
