Dwarven Tinder
Dwarven Tinder is a specially prepared flammable substance used by Alliance forces in the Wetlands. It was distributed to saboteurs tasked with incinerating the Dragonmaw clan's siege engines before they could be brought against Menethil Harbor.
Sabotaging the Dragonmaw
When Alliance scouts discovered that Chieftain Nek'rosh had constructed heavy catapults within the Dragonmaw encampment, Menethil Harbor faced an imminent crisis. Cut off from southern reinforcements by intense fighting in Dun Algaz, the defenders could not survive a prolonged siege. The solution was preemptive sabotage. Provided to volunteers advancing into orcish territory, Dwarven Tinder catches quickly from a struck spark, producing flames intense enough to consume reinforced wooden siege engines in minutes.
