Chief Sharptusk Thornmantle's Head is taken as grim proof of victory over the leader of the Bristleback quilboar threatening Red Cloud Mesa. Recovered from the depths of Brambleblade Ravine, it is presented to Brave Windfeather to mark the end of a persistent menace against young tauren braves.
Trophy of the Hunt
The tauren carve their peaceful homeland out of Mulgore through vigilance and strength. The Bristleback quilboar entrenched within Brambleblade Ravine have waged an aggressive campaign against the tribes of Camp Narache, urged on by their ferocious chieftain, Sharptusk Thornmantle. Severing his head serves not out of senseless cruelty, but as definitive proof of his demise and a stark warning to the surviving quilboar clans encroaching upon mesa borders.
A Lesson in the Hunt
Brave Windfeather demands the chieftain's head as a rite of passage for fledgling hunters and defenders of the tribe. To the tauren, facing an adversary cunning enough to retaliate and organize an entire war band provides an essential test of martial prowess. Presenting Sharptusk's head fulfills that trial, earning the young combatant an established reputation among the braves of Red Cloud Mesa.
