That serenity ended when waves of subterranean troggs clawed their way to the surface across Khaz Modan. Claiming the valley for their own, the Stonesplinter tribe rapidly turned the rocky defiles into crude fortifications, digging dens, erecting barricades, and hunting anything that strays too close. Their numbers make the valley an open wound on roads through southern Loch Modan, forcing Mountaineers out of Thelsamar to hire adventurous mercenaries willing to cull their ranks and eliminate their towering warlord, Grawmug.
