Terror Run

Stretching across the southwestern shelf of Un'Goro Crater, Terror Run lives up to its ominous reputation. Fierce pterrordax wheel through the humid air above while massive diemetradons, stegodons, and apex devilsaurs roam the low brush below. The territory sits directly in the shadow of the mountainous rim, wedged uncomfortably close to the chittering alien mounds of the Slithering Scar. Along the eastern edge of the flats lie the ruined remnants of a camp left behind by Williden Marshal's expedition, a sobering reminder of researchers who were caught unprepared when the crater's primeval predators closed in.

Beyond the sheer concentration of hungry fauna, Terror Run draws naturalists and adventurers alike for a geological rarity: it is the primary ground in the crater where curious Red Power Crystals emerge from the fertile soil. The crimson formations hum with primeval energy akin to the blue, green, and yellow crystals found elsewhere in the basin. Surviving long enough to gather them, however, means contending with the sovereign hunters of the plains—including nesting apex devilsaurs that brook no trespassers in the deep south.
