Ironstone Camp

Ironstone Camp sits directly on the threshold between the high pillars of Thousand Needles and the blazing salt expanse of the Shimmering Flats. The Horde detachment stationed here was initially dispatched with a clear and singular objective: dislodge the dwarven excavators digging at the Rustmaul Digsite. However, their military confrontation was cut short when a swarm of voracious silithid burst forth from a nearby cavern, violently engulfing the dig and attacking both sides. Led by Moktar Krin, the surviving camp defenders have diverted their efforts to combating the insectoid infestation before the swarm spreads unchecked across the region.
