Fire Plume Ridge

Towering over the primeval basin of Un'Goro, Fire Plume Ridge stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding lush jungle. Lava steadily cascades down its scorched rock faces, carving a landscape of ash and basalt. Subterranean magma arteries spiderweb outward beneath the soil from the ridge, fueling the bubbling geysers and hot springs scattered across the basin. The oppressive heat here is legendary—far exceeding ordinary volcanic temperatures according to goblin measuring devices—making it perilous for ill-prepared explorers to wander without ample water and shade.

The volcano is an elemental furnace teeming with living flame. Living flares and roving fire elementals patrol the glowing flows, drawn to the concentration of pure subterranean heat. Deep within a cavern near the volcanic summit resides Blazerunner, the undisputed master among Un'Goro's elemental denizens. Venturing high up the ridge means navigating both lethal heat and volatile elemental spirits that aggressively defend their fiery domain.
