Dustbowl

The Dustbowl is a sprawling, arid expanse in the northwestern Badlands, lying between the Horde outpost of Kargath and the central Valley of Fangs. Swept by scouring desert winds, it is a harsh wilderness populated by scavengers, prowling beasts, and wandering elementals. It is also the site of Camp Wurg, making it a frequent crossing point for travelers braving the wasteland.

A Scorched Crossing

Stretching across the northwest of the Badlands, the Dustbowl is characterized by dry gulches, cracked clay, and relentless winds that stir up choking plumes of grit. Despite the barren landscape, tough desert flora persists in the form of hardy cacti and scattered, gnarled trees. The open flatland presents constant danger to unguided wayfarers, who must contend with predatory coyotes, circling buzzards, and living rock elementals born of the rugged earth. Tucked within this scrubland lies Camp Wurg, providing a recognizable landmark amidst the otherwise desolate expanse.
