Darrow Hill
Darrow Hill is an elevated expanse of rugged grassland nestled in northern Hillsbrad Foothills directly beneath the Headland. While mountain lions and stags graze across its open slopes, feral yetis lurk inside the Foothill Caverns that pit the hillside. Rich with veins of Alterac Granite, it serves as a treacherous frontier where natural beasts and rival travelers constantly clash.
A Treacherous Frontier
Rising along the base of the northern mountains below the Headland, Darrow Hill bridges the rolling pasture of southern Hillsbrad with the jagged, colder heights of Alterac. Mountain lions and stags stalk through the tall grasses, sharing the rocky slopes with towering yetis that spill out from the Foothill Caverns. Beyond its feral wildlife, the cavern walls hide deposits of dense Alterac Granite, drawing quarry workers, miners, and adventurers straight into harm's way. Caught between contentious regional claims, its trails remain notoriously dangerous for travelers of either faction caught unawares.
