Circle of East Binding

The Circle of East Binding is a mysterious ancient ritual site situated in the eastern reaches of the Arathi Highlands, just southwest of Hammerfall. Anchored by the Stone of East Binding, the site is violently contested and guarded by roaming water elementals known as cresting exiles.

The Eastern Ward

Positioned amidst the rugged highlands east of Stromgarde, the Circle of East Binding is one of several ancient sites of power scattered across the Arathi basin. At its focal point stands the Stone of East Binding, an enigmatic monument radiating potent elemental magic. Swirling water elementals known as cresting exiles roam the surrounding earth and fiercely defend the stone against any mortals who dare approach.

Elemental Imprisonment

The stones throughout Arathi are not mere natural anomalies; they function as ancient binding wards intended to suppress and imprison volatile elemental forces. The restless water spirits surrounding the eastern circle betray the strain on these wards, as the entities drawn to or trapped by the stone's magic lash out at travelers and adventurers navigating the nearby road to Hammerfall.
