Bitter Reaches

Occupying the northeastern cliffs of Azshara, the Bitter Reaches remains a stark and untamed stretch of rocky terrain overlooking the Great Sea. Flocks of feral hippogryphs and two-headed chimaeras nest amidst the heights, while acidic oozes seep through the cold ground. Along the high northern ridges, colossal mountain giants have claimed the slopes as their own, driving away lesser creatures and turning the frozen approaches into a perilous hazard for any solitary traveler.

Despite the harsh winds and aggressive predators, the craggy landscape sustains rare mountain flora. Sparse clusters of Mountain Silversage cling to the high rock faces and windy perches, making the dangerous terrain occasionally worth traversing for intrepid herbalists daring enough to avoid the giants and territorial chimaeras.
