Perched in the jagged crags of the Burning Steppes, the Altar of Storms is a dark monument dedicated to fel rituals and demonic power. Blackrock clan warlocks occupy the sinister site, performing foul magic beneath the shadow of Blackrock Spire. Its dark aura draws ambitious practitioners of the shadow from across Azeroth.
A Legacy of Shadow and Flame
Constructed during the earlier wars to channel corrupting fel magic, the Altar of Storms stands as a grim monument to dark pacts. In the Burning Steppes, hostile warlocks of the Blackrock clan control the grounds, conducting occult rituals and drawing upon demonic forces. Nearby, the encampment of the hermit Gorzeeki Wildeyes and his master Mor'zul Bloodbringer overlooks the site, where renegade practitioners study its violent energies and concoct demanding rituals for ambitious spellcasters seeking greater dark power.
