The Fate of a Loved One is a quest concerning Resaan, who ventured into the dangerous Ruins of Ban'aethal to scavenge supplies and never returned. Over a week later, his grieving partner asks travelers bound for the ruins to discover his fate and bring him home or recover his cherished heirloom.

If you are traveling to Ban'aethal, I have a selfish request. My love, Resaan... I believe is no longer a part of this world. He had tried to go back to get supplies even though I begged him to stay. It has been over a week already and I fear the worst.
Please, if you find him, bring him home. If he has perished then I beg you to please bring me his heirloom.
