Quest · Zephras Isle
The Problem With Prideclaws
The Problem With Prideclaws addresses the encroaching threat of wild prideclaw predators in the Shen'dar Highlands. As local settlements already grapple with bandits and cultists, culling the encroaching beasts protects vulnerable villagers while yielding useful pelts for the community.
Quest text
As if bandits and mad cultists weren't enough, the hills are thick with prideclaws as well right now. They are starting to encroach on the village borders and growing bolder by the day. It's only a matter of time before someone's pet or child is taken. It would be a mercy for us to cull their numbers now rather than after some tragedy occurs.
Bring me a dozen or so of their pelts. I can turn them into all sorts of goods that will be of aid to the village.
Progress
If you ask me, I think Prideclaws are actually kind of cute. From a safe distance... And while standing behind someone holding a sword, of course.
