Bloodmage Drazial

Perched near the northern pass where the Swamp of Sorrows gives way to the Blasted Lands, Bloodmage Drazial pursues a peculiar brand of magic. While many high elves shun the forbidden arts or despair over Quel'Thalas, Drazial and his sister Lynnore harness blood magic to harvest power from the harsh environment. The blighted fauna of the wastes—scorpoks, snickerfangs, and blasted boars—show strange, unnatural vigor, which Drazial and Lynnore believe came from the energy released when the Dark Portal opened. By harvesting specific organs and tissues from these creatures, Drazial brews volatile concoctions that grant immense bursts of physical strength, agility, and endurance.

Unlike many factional agents stationed in the Blasted Lands, Drazial operates with practical detachment. He holds no official allegiance to either the Alliance or the Horde, choosing instead to trade his alchemical expertise to anyone hardy enough to brave the wasteland and gather the raw ingredients he requires. As long as travelers bring him the organs of the local predators, Drazial is content to keep his cauldrons bubbling.
