Vial of Spider Venom
A Vial of Spider Venom contains the potent, necrotic poison harvested from the arachnids that infest the darkened woods of Duskwood. Madame Eva of Darkshire uses this dangerous extract alongside undead remains to craft protective wards against incoming harm.
Duskwood's Venomous Threat
The shadowed thickets of Duskwood harbor monstrous arachnids—from skittering pygmy venom webs and green recluses to black widows and the notorious Naraxis. These creatures pump a foul, potent poison through their fangs, potent enough to paralyze travelers and decay flesh. Adventurers brave enough to slay these horrors can extract intact vials of the viscous fluid.
Crafting the Totem of Infliction
In Darkshire, the fortune teller Madame Eva perceives ominous portents for travelers stepping out into the dark world. To craft a ward of retribution, she requires five vials of this raw venom, combined with ghoul fangs and skeleton fingers. Channeled through her craft, the venom’s predatory, biting nature is inverted into the Totem of Infliction, turning harm back upon anyone who attacks its bearer.
