Totem of Hawkwind
The Totem of Hawkwind is a carved token carried by young tauren departing Camp Narache. Presented to Baine Bloodhoof in Bloodhoof Village, it serves as proof that the bearer has completed their initial trials and is prepared to undergo the remainder of the Rites of the Earthmother.
A Chieftain's Endorsement
Carved by the hand of Chief Hawkwind atop the Red Cloud Mesa, this wooden totem acts as an introduction and proof of passage for youth coming of age. In tauren tradition, formal writ is rarely used; instead, meaningful symbols and familiar tribal craft carry a leader's intent. When an aspiring youth completes their preliminary trials at Camp Narache, Hawkwind crafts this icon to send them forward along the road into the wider expanse of Mulgore. The distinctive carvings identify the bearer to Baine Bloodhoof, signaling that they possess the spirit and strength required to face the next trials and seek the eventual blessing of Thunder Bluff.
