Thick Bear Fur

The bears prowling the ridges of Dun Morogh endure some of the harshest snowfields in the Eastern Kingdoms. Their thick, resilient coats provide vital protection from blizzards, making the pelt an invaluable resource for locals and travelers alike. Rather than being discarded as scrap, these heavy pelts are regularly harvested by hunters and used to line clothes, insulate drafty outposts, and pad cold sleeping rolls.

When Pilot Bellowfiz began outfitting his siege tank, Jetsteam, at Steelgrill's Depot, he faced the harsh prospect of spending a full month in the field on a long mission for the Siege Brigade. Because cold iron offers little comfort in high-altitude snowbanks, he commissioned local scouts to gather thick bear furs from the snow fields south of the Grizzled Den to fashion warm bedding for his cabin quarters.
