The Embalmer's Heart
The Embalmer's Heart is an unholy relic beating within the undead corpse of Eliza, buried deep in Duskwood. Once belonging to a grief-stricken alchemist known as the Embalmer, it was transplanted through dark magic to revive his deceased wife, becoming the primary anchor of his twisted power.
A Love That Defied Death
According to the folklore of Darkshire, the Embalmer was once a gentle alchemist whose mind shattered upon the passing of his beloved wife, Eliza. Desperate to reclaim her from the grave, he turned to foul sorceries and cut out his own heart, placing it inside Eliza's lifeless chest. While the unholy transfusion successfully stirred her corpse back to unlife, the resurrection twisted her into a ravenous creature consumed by an insatiable hunger for living human flesh, forcing the horror-stricken alchemist to inter her once more within the earth.
