Tainted Memorandum
The Tainted Memorandum is a discreet note handed to novice gnome warlocks starting out in Coldridge Valley. Penned by the warlock trainer Alamar Grimm, it urges the reader to cast aside traditional paths and seek out the true power offered by the dark arts.
A Discreet Summons
In the chilly dwarven outpost of Anvilmar, practitioners of fel magic are neither celebrated nor widely trusted. For young gnomes dabbling in forbidden arts, the Tainted Memorandum serves as an invitation from Alamar Grimm. The message rejects reliance on the Holy Light or mundane martial steel, pointing instead to the fall of Gnomeregan as proof that conventional methods and tinkering have failed their people. To Grimm, relying on dwarven charity is a dead end; gnomes must seize undeniable power and summon unquestioning minions if they ever hope to secure their own future.
