Secure Crate

Trade routes between Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms rely on a fragile chain of couriers, desert caravans, and goblin merchant vessels. When land caravans across the Barrens miss their scheduled departures, fragile shipments like this Secure Crate must be hauled by independent travelers down to the coast. Inside are alchemical goods, potions, and various reagents earmarked for associates across the Great Sea. Given the delicate and valuable nature of the contents, the crate is firmly sealed to ensure it survives both the arid trails of the Barrens and the salty spray of oceanic transit.

The destination of the crate's land leg is the dock at Ratchet, overseen by Wharfmaster Dizzywig. Ratchet's harbor serves as the primary neutral funnel through which supplies cross the sea toward destinations like Blackwater Cove. Operating under the ledger of the Steamwheedle Cartel, Dizzywig ensures that small parcels and heavy freight alike are properly manifested and loaded aboard the next departing vessel, providing a vital commercial link between the Old World and the frontier.
