Searing Collar
Searing Collars are ritual torcs worn by members of the Burning Blade cult hiding within Skull Rock in Durotar. Heated to burn the wearer's flesh, they are used by the cultists to attune themselves to demonic powers.
Instruments of Corruption
Within the shadowy cavern of Skull Rock, just east of Orgrimmar, the Burning Blade gathers to perform dark rituals. Cultists, neophytes, and thugs of the cult don Searing Collars around their necks, willingly subjecting themselves to scorching heat that brands and sears their skin. The hermit Margoz studies these cruel devices, theorizing that the burning sensation and dark enchantments bound to the metal serve to attune the wearers directly to demonic energies. Investigating the collars reveals that they are a significant conduit of demonic corruption creeping into orc society right under the Horde's nose.
