Scroll of Messaging
The Scroll of Messaging is an enchanted parchment carrying a specific magical sending spell. Acquired for the gnome engineer Gaxim Rustfizzle in the Stonetalon Mountains, it serves an unusual purpose: providing the magical trigger needed to detonate remote explosives.
A Volatile Message
While ostensibly an arcane script meant for long-distance communication, Gaxim Rustfizzle has a far more disruptive application in mind for the Scroll of Messaging. By combining its transmission incantation with volatile NG-5 charges, the gnome plans to create a remotely detonated explosive. The resulting blast is intended to trigger a massive distraction at the Venture Company's logging operation in Stonetalon, granting operatives a window to slip past guards and pilfer proprietary engineering schematics and confidential correspondence.
