Sarkoth's Mangled Claw
Sarkoth's Mangled Claw is the severed pincer of Sarkoth, a monstrous scorpid stalking the southern bluffs of the Valley of Trials. Heavily scarred by the badly wounded troll Hana'zua, the trophy serves as both proof of the beast's death and a final consolation for a wounded hunter's pride.
A Trophy of Vengeance
While hunting in the Valley of Trials, a young Darkspear troll named Hana'zua engaged a massive scorpid known as Sarkoth. Before Sarkoth's venomous stinger pierced his chest and left him bleeding under a nearby tree, Hana'zua landed a crushing blow against the creature's massive pincer. Severing this battered limb offers undeniable proof that the monstrous scorpid has been slain. For Hana'zua, holding the mangled claw confirms that his desperate strike left a lasting mark, providing a fleeting spark of warrior's honor as venom courses through his veins.
