Rooted in the defiled earth of graveyards such as the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery, these morbid blooms thrive in proximity to death. Local rumors claim they can even take root within the cracked skulls of the walking dead, particularly Skeletal Horrors and Skeletal Fiends that stalk the barrows. To the locals in Darkshire, harvesting them is both a grim chore and a dangerous necessity, as disturbing their soil means braving the unrested dead.

Despite their repulsive nature, Rot Blossoms serve a specialized purpose in local concoctions. The blooms contain dark essences required to brew Zombie Juice, a foul draft tied to Duskwood's macabre survival efforts. Those dispatched to gather the blossoms often find themselves inadvertently aiding the Night Watch, culling the restless skeletons that wander the haunted gravesites in the process.
