Putrid Claw
Putrid Claws are the decaying hands severed from mindless undead prowling the woods west of Brill. Deathguard Dillinger collects them as definitive proof that the encroaching Scourge threat near the old bridge is being held at bay.
Trophy of the Mindless
Even in their own homeland, the Forsaken are not entirely safe from the Lich King's reach. Pockets of mindless Scourge—rotting dead and ravaged corpses—regularly wander across the eastern borders into Tirisfal Glades, clustering along roads and near the old bridge west of Brill. To ensure the safety of travelers and garrison supply lines, the Deathguards place bounties on these wandering horrors. A severed putrid claw serves as unmistakable, physical evidence that one more shambling corpse has been put down for good.
