Plainstrider Beak
Plainstrider Beaks are harvested from the tall, flightless birds roaming the scrublands of the Barrens. Huntmasters at the Crossroads collect these beaks as physical proof that a hunter has culled local birds threatening the settlement's provisions.
A Measure of the Hunt
The vast savannahs surrounding the Crossroads are populated by various breeds of plainstrider, including greater, fleeting, and ornery varieties. While relatively simple prey compared to the fiercer beasts of central Kalimdor, their aggressive foraging makes them a constant pest around settlements. Sergra Darkthorn tasks arriving hunters with bringing back Plainstrider Beaks to confirm the flock has been culled away from essential supply lines and storehouses.
