Mary's Looking Glass

Before her terrible fate, Blind Mary treasured this polished looking glass. After her death and the loss of her eyes, looking upon her reflection became an agonizing reminder of what she had lost. She cast the mirror away behind her barn, leaving it to the encroaching gloom of Duskwood. There it fell into the clutching claws of an Insane Ghoul that wandered the ruined outskirts, carrying the trinket south into the crypts of Tranquil Gardens Cemetery.

In Darkshire, the eccentric stargazer Viktori Prism'Antras dreamed of peering through Duskwood's eternal twilight toward the pristine heavens above. Building his telescope required specialized optical lenses and reflective glass. Learning of his need, Mary directed adventurers to hunt down the feral undead prowling the cemetery's ruined chapel, reclaiming the looking glass to serve as an optical reflector in his grand star-viewing machine.
