Etched Rune
The Etched Rune is a carved stone tablet given to aspiring dwarven hunters in Coldridge Valley. It serves as an invitation from the hunter trainer Thorgas Grimson, directing fledglings to seek him out within Anvilmar to begin their formal wilderness instruction.
Call of the Wild
Carved with specific dwarven runes, this small stone tablet is passed along to novices who demonstrate potential out in the snowdrifts of Coldridge Valley. Sent by the mountaineer and hunter trainer Thorgas Grimson, the rune encourages fledgling trackers to pause their outdoor tasks and report to Anvilmar. Reading the stone marks a hunter's first step away from basic survival and toward understanding the deeper craft of the wild—learning to respect the beasts of Dun Morogh, track mountain predators, care for ranged weaponry, and endure the brutal elements.
