Dragonmaw War Banner

Following the Second War, the Dragonmaw clan was shattered after losing control of their enslaved red dragons. The enraged drakes turned on their captors, driving the survivors out of Grim Batol and into the eastern hills. In recent times, the remaining orcs have begun gathering strength once more under Chieftain Nek'rosh, raising their war banners over encampments northeast of Menethil Harbor. These crude, imposing standards represent both their lingering defiance and a direct menace to the marshland settlements.

Captain Stoutfist, stationed at Menethil Harbor, tasks Alliance adventurers with striking into the marsh encampments to bring back these banners. Trophies stripped from raiders, centurions, and bone-warders, the banners confirm to the dwarven garrison that the Dragonmaw encampments are being systematically broken before the clan can launch coordinated raids.
