Console Key
The Console Key is a mechanical bypass key held by Tinkerer Sniggles at the Venture Company digsite in the Barrens. It unlocks the main control terminal housing the samophlange, allowing the device to be extracted after the apparatus has been shut down.
Securing the Apparatus
The Venture Company maintains an extensive industrial outpost in the northern Barrens, reliant on specialized steam-driven machinery regulated by an enigmatic device known as a samophlange. To prevent unauthorized tampering, the apparatus console is locked tight. Only the chief technician on site, Tinkerer Sniggles, carries the Console Key required to pop open the terminal casing and completely cut power to the rig.
