Bundle of Hides

The untamed plains of the Barrens are home to vast herds of kodo, prowling lions, and roving raptors. Hunters along the trade paths skin these creatures not only for meat and survival, but to supply city artisans. Without raw pelts from the wilds, settlements like Thunder Bluff would struggle to sustain their local leathercrafters, who transform dried skins into essential gear, pouches, armor, and bindings for the Horde.

Transporting heavy goods overland through the Barrens and up into Mulgore is dangerous and slow, constantly threatened by roaming quilboar and centaur raiders. To speed delivery between the Crossroads and the tauren capital, couriers rely on Devrak's trained wyverns. Handing a bundle of hides to a wind rider courier demonstrates the sheer efficiency of air travel across Kalimdor's fractured terrain.
