Broken and Battered Samophlange
The Broken and Battered Samophlange is an enigmatic mechanical device recovered from Venture Company operations in the Barrens. After a botched tinkering attempt pushed its structural integrity to critical lows, it must be carried to goblin experts in Orgrimmar who might actually understand how it functions.
Tinkered Beyond Recognition
A samophlange is an obscure piece of proprietary machinery designed by the Venture Company for their resource operations in the northern Barrens. When Wenikee Boltbucket attempted to inspect and modify one, she affixed extraneous gauges, levers, and dials to measure its stability. Instead of stabilizing the mechanism, her amateur meddling devastated its structural integrity, leaving it battered and teetering on the verge of ruin. Realizing more gadgets would only cause total failure, she packed off the fragile assembly to someone with real factory experience.
The Road to Orgrimmar
Salvaging the broken device requires the insight of someone who has worked directly on Venture Company production lines. This leads travelers to Rilli Greasygob, a former Venture employee now operating out of Nogg's Machine Shop in Orgrimmar's Valley of Honor. Handing over such a battered apparatus immediately catches the engineer's eye, marking anyone daring enough to scavenge from goblin operations as either remarkably daring or foolhardy.
