Barrel of Barleybrew Scalder
The Barrel of Barleybrew Scalder is a cask of stout ale crafted by the Barleybrew family to prove their brewing prowess against their chief competitors. It is entrusted to covert couriers tasked with infiltrating the Thunderbrew Distillery in Kharanos to stage a sly taste-test sabotage.
A Bitter Feud in Dun Morogh
Brewing is serious business among the dwarves of Dun Morogh, and few rivalries burn hotter than the feud between the Thunderbrews and the Barleybrews. While the Thunderbrews enjoy vast renown and pride of place from their busy distillery in Kharanos, Marleth Barleybrew refuses to sit in their shadow. Rather than relying solely on open taverns, Marleth brews the fiery 'Scalder' to prove his recipes are second to none—hoping that unsuspecting patrons who taste it will realize the Thunderbrews do not hold a monopoly on fine dwarven drink.
