Alien Egg
The Alien Egg is an unusual and mysterious clutch found guarded by local wind serpents across the canyons of Thousand Needles. Despite its unfamiliar appearance, the native serpents protect the egg fiercely as if it were their own. Its presence has aroused the curiosity and concern of the tauren scouts stationed atop Freewind Post.
A Serpent's Brood
Discovered resting at the base of the towering spires south and northeast of Freewind Post, the Alien Egg stands out dramatically from the typical fauna of the canyon floor. Rather than abandoning or destroying the odd clutch, the native serpents of the needles fiercely guard it alongside their own nests. Hagar Lightninghoof, a tauren brave keeping watch from the heights of Freewind Post, sought to retrieve the specimen to determine whether it represented a threat to the mesa settlements or merely an unusual variation of local reptilian life.
