Share the Forever text you've seen
Forever rewrote old quests and added new ones, and Lore Forever learns them from players. The add-on keeps the quest, gossip and book text you see in game. Share it here and it goes into a coming update, so every player gets those stories too.
Which zones and quests still need text: see the progress so far. Everyone who helps is on the contributors page.
A line from your game
This is exactly what will be sent. Check it, then press Send. $N, $C and $R stand for your character's name, class and race: the add-on takes them out, so every player's copy reads the same.
Share everything at once
- In game, type
/reloador log out first, so the game writes the file. - Drop your
LoreForever.luabelow. It's in your game folder:World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\WTF\Account\your account\SavedVariables\LoreForever.lua(WTF/Account/<account>/SavedVariables/LoreForever.lua). Pick the one named LoreForever.lua, not LoreForever.lua.bak.

Thank you!
Next time, only new lines need to go: in game, open Options › AddOns › Lore Forever and click Mark all as sent.
Got a link or code from the game?
The Contribute button on a quest, gossip or book window gives you a link. Opening it brings you here; you can also paste it.
What's sent and kept
- The text itself, with which quest, NPC or book it's from, the game's language and build, and the race, class and gender of the character who saw it (some lines change with them). Your character's name is taken out in the add-on before anything is saved, and again here.
- Your name for the credits, only if you give one, or your Lore Forever account's name if you're signed in and show it.
- Never your file. It's read in your browser; only the lines are sent.
- Your IP address is never stored. A one-way hash of it, salted and changed every day, stops floods (10 uploads an hour). Upload records drop even that after 30 days.
- Lines become part of Lore Forever's text, which is free for every player. Each upload gets a receipt page showing what happened to its lines.
