Fungal Rock
Fungal Rock is a damp, cavernous hollow carved into the northeastern cliff walls of Un'Goro Crater. Dominated by aggressive primates and thick growths of Ghost Mushrooms, it is one of the crater's most dangerous ape dens.
The Ape Den
Tucked behind a small waterfall and pool along Un'Goro Crater's northeastern edge, Fungal Rock serves as the primary den for the region's massive gorillas. Inside the damp, subterranean corridors, towering Un'Goro Stompers and Thunderers patrol among clusters of rare Ghost Mushrooms. The deepest recesses house territorial behemoths, including the mighty silverback U'cha and the elusive albino gorilla Uhk'loc. Beyond its primal inhabitants, curious travelers may stumble upon artificial oddities near the cave mouth, such as A-Me 01, a damaged mechanical ape abandoned by gnome researchers.
