Crystalvein Mine
Crystalvein Mine is a cavern in central Stranglethorn Vale, situated near the ancient ruins of Zul'Mamwe. The cavern is rich in valuable 'Singing Crystals', but aggressive native basilisks have completely overrun the site, turning prospective miners to solid stone.
A Lucrative Trap
Tucked away in the jungle hills near Zul'Mamwe, Crystalvein Mine boasts rare deposits of Singing Crystals, a unique mineral that fetches a high price in southern trade ports. Enticed by the promise of immense profit, the Venture Company set its sights on extracting the veins. However, the mine's natural inhabitants have proved catastrophic for business. Local basilisks consume the strange crystals, hardening their scales and making them unnaturally lethal. Outside the cave mouth, petrified statues of trolls and humans stand as a silent testament to the Venture Company's failed expeditions.
