Quest
Whuut's the Rush
Whuut's the Rush is an alchemical errand highlighting the tension between raw talent and disciplined craftsmanship. Yelmak tasks an adventurer with delivering a humble, carefully brewed tonic to his prodigy apprentice Whuut, demonstrating that true mastery begins with everyday plants rather than squandering rare reagents.
Quest text
Whuut is a prodigy. That much is true. But he doesn't yet have the experience, wisdom, and time on the stirring rod to know how to respect alchemical processes.
He is exhausting all of the rarest and most exotic reagents we have available without pausing to practice and refine his basic skills.
Give him this potion I've brewed with a quick tonic method. He'll reconsider everything he's doing when he learns how local remedies and careful touch are the first true mastery.

Grorru--whaa?
You say Yelmak made this potion from speargrass and cattail with no other reagents? I didn't know chemists had any real need for these common plants we see every day.
Maybe he's right. There could be a lot I'm missing out on by skipping to the most rare and least-studied flora first.
Friend, take your pick from one of these potions I brewed earlier. I appreciate you taking the time to visit our shop.
