Quest
Taming the Beast
Taming the Beast is an introductory trial where aspiring adventurers learn the art of pacifying and bonding with wild animal companions. Guided by Josephine Carson, initiates take a Taming Rod into the forest to tame a Rockhide Boar and practice essential survival skills. The task demonstrates that surviving harsh frontiers is far easier alongside a loyal beast, provided one honors and preserves the delicate balance of nature.
Quest text
Many adventurers prefer to travel with animal companions. With a beast at your side, you will find that you can survive even the most dangerous of circumstances. As they say, everything is easier with a friend. However, obtaining an animal companion is something that must be done with care. The balance of nature is delicate, and must always be respected.
Take this Taming Rod with you to the forest. With it, you will be able to tame a Rockhide Boar and practice your skills as an adventurer.
