Quest
A Magical Affront
A Magical Affront is a quest on Zephras centering on a clash over recently surfaced leylines. While a local order seeks to harness and study the exposed arcane energies, the Windshapers view the breaches as scars upon the earth that must be healed, sparking direct conflict in the southwestern forest.
Quest text
The recent emergence of the leylines on the surface of Zephras has been profound for our order. We have more direct and tangible access to the energies that permeate this place and it has increased our understanding of said magic greatly.
The Windshapers, however, view these emergences as scars on the land that must be "healed". This is an affront to our order and is something we simply cannot abide.
Go to the leyline in the forest to the southwest and drive off the Windshapers you find there.

Sometimes I find it hard to distinguish between the blind zealotry of the Al'Aketh cult, and the stubborn refusal of the Windshapers to change.
If they truly believed the winds would guide us, they should be sensing the direction the winds are blowing and flow with them rather than against them.
