Mercy Falls on Deaf Ears
Mercy Falls on Deaf Ears is a bounty offered by a grieving enclave seeking violent vengeance against the Al'Aketh cult. After suffering a terrible tragedy at the cultists' hands, the enclave promises coin and access to the Nightclaw's hidden lore in exchange for trophies harvested from their slain enemies. Taking up this task plunges travelers directly into the conflict spreading across Shadowgale Forest and surrounding territories.
Quest text
The Al'Aketh have visited great tragedy upon our enclave, and blood must be repaid with blood.
I have an offer for you, stranger. Should you find conflict with these accursed cultists, bring me the ears of those you kill. I will reward you for each that you return with in both coin and, in time, access to the Nightclaw's secrets should you prove yourself to be a true friend.

Excellent work. Only good things can happen by eliminating the cult. Hopefully this sends a message that the Nightclaw are not to be trifled with and that our resentments run deep.
