Quest
Unwelcome Visitors
Unwelcome Visitors is a quest in Valanaar given by Iaadaria Bitterwind on behalf of the High Order. A sudden surge in the shriekling population within the hazardous Shadowgale Forest threatens to spill into surrounding territories. Adventurers are tasked with entering the restricted woods to cull the beasts and harvest their talons for scholarly and alchemical research.
Quest text
The Shadowgale Forest is incredibly dangerous and is usually off limits to normal adventurers. In recent months there's been an explosion in the shriekling population and they've started to expand their territory outside the woods, which is a potential problem. I have an interest in the alchemical properties of shriekling talons, so a much-needed culling also presents an opportunity for scholarly gain.
Travel to Shadowgale Forest and hunt the beasts. Bring me as many of their talons as you can.
Progress
The High Order do not make it a habit to employ themselves as simple trappers and game wardens, but when performing a service such as this can lead to scholarly gain, we are happy to engage in acts of community service.

That is quite the haul of talons you've brought me. I cannot wait to dig into this!
Thank you for your service to the High Order, adventurer.
