The Missing Scholar
The Missing Scholar concerns the disappearance of Fillion Flamebreeze, an academic from the High Order sent to research atmospheric magic on Zephras. Tracing his steps along the road between Valanaar and the Shen'dar Highlands reveals the dangerous nature of scholarly expedition across the island.

Seeking knowledge is the primary mandate of the High Order, but this work has never been more dangerous than it is now on Zephras.
One of our scholars--Fillion Flamebreeze--was en route to the Shen'dar Highlands to gather data on the windborne magic that congregates in some areas there. Regrettably, he has not returned and we fear that something may have befallen him on the road.
If you can, please locate him for us. He was last seen on the road leading west from Valanaar towards Shen'dar Highlands.

The satchel lying before you has a few specks of what appears to be dried blood on the flap. Studying the stain, you notice that the flap also has a name embroidered onto it. It reads "Fillion Flamebreeze".
