Quest
What Is My Purpose?
"What Is My Purpose?" is a quest centered on a giant Malfunctioning Cyclone Construct wandering aimlessly through agricultural fields. Repeating broken fragments of speech beneath its armor plating, the ancient machine has forgotten its original duties after decades of neglect following the departure of the wind elementals. Investigating the construct leads adventurers to consult local orchardist Aamelia Windfield to learn about its mysterious past and former caretakers.

The construct? It's been wandering around the fields for decades. Since the wind elementals left us, I think. Alvarion suspected that it used to haul harvests to market, or maybe tend to livestock back before this was an orchard. That could have been a thousand years ago though.
In the old days, the Windshapers used to maintain these constructs. We've talked about petitioning them to come and take a look at it, but it's never been a pressing concern to us. Mostly we just ignore it these days.
