Gryshka's Letter

Gryshka's Letter is a personal note of thanks written by Innkeeper Gryshka of Orgrimmar and addressed to the butcher Zargh at the Crossroads. Sent after receiving a delivery of fresh meat, the letter serves as both a sign of gratitude and an excuse to teach young Horde couriers how to navigate the wind rider flight network.

A Grateful Innkeeper

When Zargh ships a bundle of prepared steaks from the arid expanses of the Barrens to Orgrimmar's central tavern, Innkeeper Gryshka pens this note in return. Beyond expressing her satisfaction with the butcher's cuts, the letter reveals a fond—if rugged—appreciation for Zargh, recalling humorous misadventures such as the time he lost a finger while preparing meat. Gryshka concludes with affectionate amusement, remarking that he looks handsome even when bloodied by his trade.

Courier Along the Flight Paths

Carrying Gryshka's Letter provides travelers with a practical lesson in Horde logistics. To return the parchment to the Crossroads, adventurers are instructed to report to Doras, the wind rider master roosted atop Orgrimmar's plateau. By demonstrating that a traveler has already checked in with Devrak at the Crossroads, Doras introduces fledgling couriers to the wyvern flight paths that bind the settlements of Durotar and the Barrens together.
