Broken Tools
Broken Tools are the shattered remnants of dwarven prospector picks, intentionally destroyed at an anvil. They serve as physical proof to Baine Bloodhoof that the invasive dwarven excavation threatening Mulgore's land and wildlife has been disrupted.
Sabotaging the Dig
To the northwest of Bloodhoof Village, dwarven excavators have set up operations to delve into the hills of Mulgore. While the dwarves seek buried ancient history, the tauren view their aggressive excavation as a direct defilement of the Earth Mother. The noise and destruction agitate the local wildlife, particularly the roaming kodo herds. Rather than merely driving the excavators away, young Baine Bloodhoof instructs defenders to confiscate the prospectors' iron picks and shatter them upon a forge, rendering the expedition unable to gouge further into the earth.
